Community

We value our community in Milton, the relationships built and the times we spend together. We know that together we are stronger and that God is building us together in love to be his church untied under Christ.

Knowing how much our internal community is important to us, we have a desire to reach out into the community around us. We do not want to be an island but want to be a part of the community around us, to enrich it and to learn from it, so that we grow as individuals and as a community. This is why we support various groups and charities that operate in our town, from this page you will find links to our wider community. The other churches we work with, the teams and projects we are part of and the charities and causes we support.

We hope that this inspires you to get involved somewhere too, many of our members volunteer within these places and find great benefit in doing so. Let us remember the teaching of Ecclesiastes and work together for a brighter tomorrow within Weston and the community that calls it home

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

 Two are better than one,

because they have a good return for their labour:

If either of them falls down,

one can help the other up.

But pity anyone who falls

and has no one to help them up.

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.

But how can one keep warm alone?

Though one may be overpowered,

    two can defend themselves.

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
